For centuries, goat milk has been a staple around the world. In recent years, it has been making its way to more and more American homes as well. Our introduction to goat milk came when we had the opportunity to purchase Summerhill Goat Dairy in the summer of 1999. Everyone thought the idea was crazy and we will admit that we did too. We knew a lot about animals and our families have a long history of dairy farming, but goats were something brand new. So we went to the library and started studying and then we went to work. Before we knew it, we fell in love. Today we think goats are the most perfect animal on earth. They are gentle, sweet and intelligent, and they make the most delicious milk ever.
